Canadian entertainer Simu Liu, who is best known for his job on CBC sitcom Kim’s Convenience, has been set to star in Marvel Studios’ Shang-Chi, playing the main character. Likewise joining the motion picture will be Crazy Rich Asians star Awkwafina and veteran entertainer Tony Leung.
The declarations were made at Marvel’s introduction at Comic-Con in the enormous Hall H field, where Marvel Studios head Kevin Feige said the film’s full title would be Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings and would hit theaters in Feb. 12, 2021.
